Good for: Balcony
Watering & light guide
Light: a sunny balcony or window ledge with at least 4–6 hours of sun a day.
Watering: water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry, usually once a week; less in winter. Forgiving if you miss a watering.
Always let excess water drain out of the pot. Message us on WhatsApp if your plant looks unhappy.
A young bougainvillea for sunny terraces, walls and gates. Once settled it covers itself in papery bracts for months, and it actually flowers better when kept on the dry side.
It arrives as a single rooted sapling in a small net pot. Plant it net pot and all; the roots grow straight through.
