Watering & light guide
Light: near a bright window, but out of direct midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Watering: water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry, usually once a week; less in winter. Forgiving if you miss a watering.
Always let excess water drain out of the pot. Message us on WhatsApp if your plant looks unhappy.
A rooted Marble Queen with green leaves heavily marbled in cream and white. Slower and more decorative than the golden money plant, it keeps its pattern best in bright, indirect light.
It arrives as a single rooted sapling in a small net pot. Plant it net pot and all; the roots grow straight through.
About this sapling
- In the box: 1 rooted sapling in a net pot
- Sapling height: about 3–6 inches
- Light: Bright, indirect light keeps the white variegation
- Watering: When the top of the soil feels dry
The grown plant
- Type: Trailing foliage plant
- Care level: Easy
- Grows to: Trails or climbs several feet
- Season: Grows all year indoors
- Pets: Not pet-safe: keep out of reach of pets and children.
- Tip: In low light the leaves turn greener; move it closer to a window if that happens.
How to plant your sapling
- Pick a pot 4–6 inches wide with a drainage hole.
- Fill it two-thirds with potting mix (garden soil, cocopeat and vermicompost in equal parts works well).
- Make a hollow in the centre and set the sapling in it with its net pot.
- Fill around it, firm gently and water until it drains from the bottom.
- Keep it out of harsh sun for 3–4 days while it settles, then move it to its usual spot.
